Returns

​

There are no returns on live animals. No exceptions. All sales are final. Do not place an order if you are not 100% certain you can commit to the purchase of the animal. If you choose to cancel your order before shipping you will receive in-store credit only. 

Payment Methods

All of our prices are listed in USD. Our preferred payment method is Zelle. We also accept PayPal, ApplePay and Credit/Debit cards via our website. We do not offer payment plans. All payments must clear before any shipments will be scheduled.

Shipping

​

We ship all orders via FedEx Priority Overnight. Shipping is a flat fee of $80. We only ship after payment is received and the temperature is safe for the animals (We ship between the parameters of 38°-82°). After your purchase, someone from our team will contact you with instructions on shipping.

International Shipping


Please note: At the moment we only offer international shipping to Europe. If you would like to purchase a gecko and ship to another country please send us a message and we can try to accommodate you. All imports to Europe will be placed with Dutch Dragons Imports. We must receive full payment before ANY shipments will be scheduled. There is no live arrival guarantee on international shipments.

Live Arrival Guarantee

​

We guarantee live arrival under the following conditions:

​

  1. Safe temperatures: The entire shipment's duration must experience safe temperatures between 38°F (overnight low) and 82°F (daytime high). We provide heat and cold packs at no additional charge. Please inform us if you require them for your area when scheduling the shipment. While we check temperatures before booking all shipments and hold any unsafe shipments, ensuring proper shipping temperatures in your area is your responsibility. Please check the forecast before scheduling a shipment. If your area's temperatures are not suitable for shipping at the time of purchase, we are happy to hold your animal(s) until a safe shipping weather is reached, without any additional charges.

  2. Presence at the Fedex Hub: Someone must be present at the Fedex Hub during the designated delivery time. Once the gecko has been at the Hub for longer than 2 HOURS, the live arrival guarantee becomes void. If you choose to ship your animal to your residential address or business address, live arrival guarantee becomes void. We strongly recommend shipping to a Fedex Hub and picking your animal up from there. We reserve the right to decide whether shipping is safe based on temperatures, and we may choose not to ship your animal(s) if we deem it unsafe. Our priority is to ensure the well-being of the animals. If a shipment is delayed, we will provide top-notch care to your animal(s) at no additional cost until a safe shipping day is available. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for any damages resulting from an incorrect address or carrier delays.

  3. Accurate shipping address: It is crucial to provide an accurate shipping address. We will send your order to the shipping address provided with your order. If the address is incorrect and the shipment is delayed, the live arrival guarantee will be voided.

D.O.A’s

​

In the unlikely event that you receive an animal that has unfortunately perished during shipment, it is crucial to contact JReptiles immediately within 1 hour of the delivery via phone (or message) or email. We kindly request photographic evidence of the deceased animal. Depending on the circumstances, we may request the return of the expired animal at your expense for further investigation. Once our thorough assessment is complete, compensation will be provided in the form of a comparable replacement animal or store credit. Please note that cash refunds will not be granted under any circumstances.

Gecko Tails

​

Geckos naturally shedding their tails is a completely normal occurrence that does not cause any harm or reduce the value of the animal. As a result, we do not provide a guarantee specifically for gecko tails during the shipping process. While it is highly uncommon for tails to drop during shipping, it is a possibility that we acknowledge.

Sexing Policy

​

If any animal listed for sale on our website is clearly identified as male or female, we guarantee its sex to be accurate. In the event that you receive an animal sold to you with a guaranteed sex that later proves to be the opposite, please notify us immediately upon realizing the error. The original animal must be returned to us following our safe shipping guidelines, at your expense. Our team will carefully inspect the animal, and if the sex discrepancy is confirmed, we will provide you with a comparable replacement at our expense or offer store credit, based on our discretion.

We would like to note that we do not perform pore sexing on any of our geckos, and we do not fulfill pore sexing requests for available geckos. Our strict policy of not performing pore sexing applies to all our animals, including holdbacks. We have found pore sexing to be highly unreliable, and our decision to refrain from it simplifies the process. All geckos are considered unsexed until they exhibit obvious signs of being male or reach a size that allows us to confidently identify them as females.

Gecko Colors

​

We take pride in providing clear and accurate pictures of each gecko available for sale, capturing them in the best lighting conditions to represent them as accurately as possible. We have dedicated considerable time, resources, and personal education to perfect our photography process in order to showcase our animals in the most genuine manner. It is important to note that the color of our animals is never altered or edited in any of our photographs; all images truly represent the animals as they are in real life. However, we are unable to offer guarantees specifically related to color. Gargoyle Geckos have the potential to undergo significant color changes due to various factors. Additionally, different computer/phone setups may slightly affect the display of colors. Nevertheless, we assure you that the gecko you see on our website is a faithful representation of what you can expect in person. In fact, many customers have shared with us that our geckos are even more impressive when seen in real life compared to the photographs.

Payment Plans

​

We only offer payment plans through PayPal Pay Later; you can choose this option at checkout.

Abandoned Orders

​

We kindly request that all orders be scheduled for shipment within 45 days from the date of purchase. We understand that there may be valid reasons for delaying shipment, such as unavailability of shipping due to weather conditions or plans to add more geckos to your order. However, it is important to note that geckos that remain in our care for more than 6 months without a scheduled shipment will be considered abandoned. In such cases, these geckos will revert to being the property of JReptiles, and no refunds in the form of cash or store credit will be provided. We do acknowledge that exceptions may be made for extreme weather circumstances that prevent shipping. Nevertheless, if we do not receive any communication from the buyer after the 6-month period, all geckos and associated payments will be forfeited.

When you place an order on our website, you are agreeing to our policy that all sales are final. No refunds will be given under any circumstances.
